The Arts Council of Fort Worth and the Kroger Company have announced a partnership to commission local artists to provide murals for three new Kroger stores in the Fort Worth area. These efforts are part of Kroger‘s larger $1 million initiative to have artists paint unique murals at more than 65 of its stores across the nation in 2016.

Artist Lindsey Dunnagan was selected to paint the mural for Kroger’s store in North Richland Hills, which opened last July. Ms. Dunnagan created an indoor mural on acrylic panels that elegantly captures the essence of Fort Worth. The Arts Council of Fort Worth plans issue an open call to additional artists interested in creating murals for two other Kroger stores, which are slated to open in December.
